Bloodstone is one of the few minerals we have a preference for in the rough form rather than the polished. Bloodstone is a rich dark green contrasted by vivid splotches of red. Often bands of white and sometimes yellow can be found too. The pictures of these stones were photographed wet to help you see the colors of the stone better. However they are quite beautiful dry too. Many of the pictures came out darker than anticipated due to the deep green color of the bloodstone.
