For the beginner, find a quite space where you will not be disturbed. Create an atmosphere where you can relax, and feel safe.  Hold the crystals in your hand, either in the pouch, or explore individually, just start with what makes you feel comfortable.  As you explore the stones, clear your mind from the jumbled emotions of life, pay attention to the little details of each crystal. Pay attention to random memories that may surface, you may remember the first visit to the beach, which you haven't though of in years, you may suddenly remember the smell of grandma's cookies baking, do you feel a summer breeze, even though it is winter?
