Although these were named as shell jasper by our supplier, we have found they are probably a shell bearing marble. Sometimes nature likes to give us these mysteries! They have a soft silky feel not usually associated with microcrystalline varieties of quartz such as jasper. Visually they form bold abstract patterns of black and white. Their polish is truly smooth to the touch. Pick them up and they feel so warm and inviting. Its like you don't want to ever put them down. There is a maternal energy here that is very nurturing. This particular piece has a high-spirited energy and reminds me of a beautiful abstract painting. This beautiful piece is from China.
