In Memory of Pitre Our beloved friend May 1997 - November 2001 We miss you baby.
I'd like to share with you some of our favorite moments with Pitre. He was a wonderful cat, who was not just a pet, but a companion. He was always there with a comforting kitty kiss (which more often than not, almost gave you whiplash!) He loved to share my (Jenn's) pillow, taking up more of it than me, although he would allow me a corner occasionally! He had a wonderful sense of humor and play. He loved crystals too (gee could you tell?) He was born in April/May of 1997, we're not too sure, we only know that he was a Taurus kitty. He had a passion for anything soft, chenille blankets or pillows especially. He also had an extremely stubborn streak in him. If you think animals don't hold grudges think again. He went to extremes with his grudges. I once went away for the weekend and did not say goodbye to him, or tell him when I would be back. It took him over a week to forgive me! He passed away November 13th 2001 after being attacked by dogs. Even though it has been almost a year since he passed away, the pain has not diminished. He was my baby. I miss him dearly. Pitre and Catnip. Like most cats Pitre loved catnip. He seemed to take it to an extreme. I didn't even need to take it out of the container!
Pitre and the Kittens Even though Pitre wanted a companion, he wasn't too pleased when I brought home not one kitten but TWO. Although he loved both... Peanut was his favorite.
Of course... he did love both of them :)
