General News Update including Springfield finds
It’s been awhile since we’ve made a general blog posting. We’ve had a busy summer so far, culminating with the Springfield Gem & Mineral trade show, but more on that shortly!
Tropical Storm Fay threw a minor spanner in the works with her trip through our area. While she brought lots of rain (over 5″) and a bit of wind, we sustained very little damage. The power was out for a number of hours, but all is returning to normal around here.
With the storm passing, we can now concentrate on photographing the goodies Mary and Bryan acquired in Springfield. With a marathon shopping spree they managed to pick up over 160 pounds of new material in just 2 days! Mary is currently hard at work taking pictures of these beauties and we aim to have a sneak preview of many of these for our newsletter members by the end of the month. Gorgeous black tourmaline crystals, citrine w/black tourmaline, blue tourmaline crystals, green lithium, soul bridge crystals, vogel style wands, ocean jasper freeforms, enhydro agates, Orange River quartz crystals and clusters, metamorphosis quartz spheres & freeforms, gorgeous amethyst crystals and clusters, spheres galore, stunning Tibetan crystals, selenite clusters, formations and polished pieces, golden selenite from Australia, Shiva Lingams, white topaz crystals, spessartine garnet crystals, rutile crystals, zircon, anatase, titanite, morganite, blue fluorite w/quartz, optical pink calcite, included quartz galore, and that just touches the surface!
While Mary works on these new goodies, I’ll be working to update the site with more wonderful treasures from our current inventory. I won’t be publishing a newsletter for this update, so check back as I aim to update the site by Monday.
On a more personal note, our trip to NY and Springfield allowed us a visit with the twins. They are now 19 months old and growing fast. You can’t do anything but smile when they run up to you and throw their arms around you for a big bear hug!

One of our newer finds in Tucson was small natural red topaz crystals from San Luis Potosi Mexico which are also known as sherry topaz. These interesting topaz crystals are a combination of deep red and white and some have an amber hue, their color is determined by the temperature in which they formed. Their colors are truly fascinating since many of these crystals have bands of color.
Ajoite is quite expensive due to its extreme rarity; however in Tucson we found a quantity at an amazing deal enabling us to bring you pieces at affordable prices. The ajoite is swirled within chalcedony, producing stunning blue-green swirls. Ajoite awakens your compassion, both for yourself and for others. Ajoite heals the healer, and is highly nurturing. It makes me think of floating in a warm pool of salt or mineral water, perfectly supported and totally at ease.

We had an exquisitely wonderful vacation. We are sunburned to a crisp, aching, exhausted and stupidly giddy! 
So now there are suitcases to unpack, piles of laundry to wash, goodies to distribute, 700 photos to download, animals whose forgiveness needs to be begged, and lots and lots of work done for the site. I’ll write a more in depth post soon with all the lovely details and pictures. Until then!
We are vacating, taking a recess, being released from our duties, business, and everyday activities. And ironically, we actually are vacationing in the Caribbean (see definition 5). It’s been a few years since our last vacation, when we spent a lovely cold spring in

We were recently blessed with a shipment of rare Dominican blue amber. If you do any research you’ll know that blue amber also comes from Chiapas Mexico. The Dominican blue amber is much more rare and much stronger than the Chiapas amber!
(physical as well as emotional and mental) make sure you put blue amber on the list for its ability to multitask in all areas of healing. Its energy is easy and gentle enough for children and yet powerful enough for adults. Furthermore it is an excellent piece for clairvoyants and anyone with psychic abilities. It is extremely beneficial to healers for its ability to heal the healer. It has an extremely protective energy as well; far stronger than black tourmaline or any other shielding stone. I can’t stress enough the healing power in this rare and wondrous healing tool!
