Magnetic Golden Zagi Quartz Elestial (M9790)

This year's Tucson find included several interesting crystals from the Zagi Mountains of Pakistan. The crystals have a beautiful golden glow and interesting inclusions such as riebeckite, astrophyllite and  other rare earth minerals. Try as I might, there is not too much information to be found about these unusual crystals.  The specimens I have been able to find have been unbelievably expensive. Their energy is very high vibrational and very strong with an an old wise energy. They give me the impression of the old man in the mountain. Their energy is timeless, connecting you to the earth while opening you to the divine energies. Their energy is not overwhelmingly grounding, but enough to keep you connected to the Earth and yourself. They activate the third eye awakening your intuition and assist your psychic abilities including astral travel. They help you refine your accuracy and bolster your confidence. Their energy helps to protect you spiritually and energetically. They teach balance and patience, helping you keep a pace of development that does not overwhelm you. On a physical level they work with mental issues, especially learning disabilities such as dyslexia.

We almost didn't pick up with beautiful crystal, we both picked it up several times and put it down again, until we finally gave in, and we are glad we did. The formations are just stunning. From one side it doesn't look all that impressive except for its golden smoky glow and the profusion of golden astrophyllite and black riebeckite. The crystal isn't completely terminated, although you can't really tell that at first. Actually, its a little difficult to tell which way is up. The photographs of the smooth side are actually upside down. I figured this out when record keepers started to show themselves pointing in the opposite direction of what I though was up. The other side appears to have grown in the opposite direction with a whole city of three dimensional triangular faces that point in the opposite direction. Even more intriguing are the series of fault lines that run through the crystal, that run seamlessly through the crystal. Determined, it kept growing in the same overall pattern with subtle variations in the sections. He even appears to be double terminated too. Truly he is a complex spirit in form and energy. He has an ancient energy as is a master teacher.

The crystal measures 2.3" x 3.25" x 1.5" and weighs 10.5 oz.

Earthquake crystals are a general term we've coined for a type self healed crystals. The main body of the crystal has been completely shorn in two separate pieces, but have managed to reheal after the rending experience. The crack usually appears as a fault line running through the crystal. These crystals have been very useful in working with abusive trauma from childhood. They work well in giving a safe place to return to while one puts the pieces of their lives back together.

A crystal that has pyramidal or triangular shaped symbols that are either engraved into or are raised on one or more of a crystal faces is called a Record Keeper or Recorder. These symbols are not easily seen and usually need to be searched out by looking at the crystal in a bright light while closely examining the faces. It is believed that the Record Keeper is one of the most sacred crystals because it holds the wisdom and knowledge of the universe. When a person is properly attuned to a Record Keeper, this knowledge is readily made available. This knowledge is ancient knowledge and contains profound secrets and esoteric knowledge of the whole of the Higher Consciousness. It takes an open mind and a pure heart to access this knowledge.
