Elestial formations are truly beautiful; they are complex in their simplicity. Smoky quartz is most frequently found in this formation. Smoky elestials have a range of color from light to dark and different degrees of depth to their formation, often occurring with phantoms and occasionally even enhydro bubbles. I find them endlessly fascinating; it is so easy to get lost in their formations. While they have certain formations in common, there really is no such thing as a typical elestial. They are known by many different names, jacare quartz, skeletal quartz, and crocodile quartz just to name a few. When I laid my eyes on this elestial I was stunned not only by its beauty but its energy too. I was amazed that this beauty had been overlooked for so long. The etching are enthralling with mountains on top of mountains, with shimmering clouds in the distance as included wispy veils. Interior rainbows add a colorful touch to the landscape. Some areas have an elestial overlying white quartz. The smoky quartz is fairly light in color, with deeper highlights adding dramatic highlights. Turning this elestial over reveals a family of crystals growing underneath. He's been through much with the etchings of self-healing occurring in places and a few minor bruises that have yet to heal.
