Citrine is one of our true passions in the crystal world. We go out of our way to find high quality natural golden citrine pieces. Citrine, while not as rare as many crystals, is the “rarest” of the quartz cousins. For this reason, many times the citrine commonly on the market is heat treated amethyst. This citrine feels much different that natural citrine. We restocked our supply of polished citrine points on our last shopping trip. They were chosen for their color, clarity, rainbows, and energy! Some have smoky phantoms, and a couple have rutiles too, a rare find! Citrine has amazing “pick me up” energy, and can get you over the last hurdles when you are in a pinch. This is a particularly large citrine point, that has been mostly polished. Some natural impressions can be found towards the base, with etchings from a past companion. Stunning phantom layers can be found towards the base of this piece, and there is exceptional clarity and color throughout. In the standing position it does tilt a little to one side and inversely tapers towards the base, giving this piece a unique character. The energy helps you move from your past, and resolve old issues of anger and fear, more gently and slowly than most crystals however. It leaves behind the happy memories for your to draw upon.

Citrine is a phenomenal mineral, and one of my favorites. It is one of two minerals that will not accumulate negative energy, but somehow transmutes it into loving energy. I find this interesting as both minerals--citrine and kyanite--are symbolic of the Archangel Michael. It is also known as the "Merchant's Stone". It is quite helpful in acquiring and maintaining wealth.

It is an excellent stone for clearing the aura and for aligning the auric body with the physical structure, diminishing the "muddy" areas in both the aura and the physical body. It can act to stabilize the emotions, to dispel anger, and to encourage one to "look toward the sunrise", the freshness of beginnings and the reality of excellence. Personally, I use citrine in conjunction with labradorite to help keep panic/anxiety attacks at bay.

Place Citrine on your Solar plexus when tired or in need of an energy-boost, especially good for hands on healers to help themselves recuperate. It is one of the few crystals that do not require any cleansing. It can also be left in the sun for additional charging.
