Citrine is one of our true passions in the crystal world. We go out of our way to find high quality natural golden citrine pieces. Citrine, while not as rare as many crystals, is the “rarest” of the quartz cousins. For this reason, many times the citrine commonly on the market is heat treated amethyst. This citrine feels much different that natural citrine. We restocked our supply of polished citrine points on our last shopping trip. They were chosen for their color, clarity, rainbows, and energy! Some have smoky phantoms, and a couple have rutiles too, a rare find! Citrine has amazing “pick me up” energy, and can get you over the last hurdles when you are in a pinch. They have joyful energy that brings the sunshine to your life. They balance the excessive fears and anxiety that lie in the sacral chakra, countering panic attacks. Citrine is a phenomenal mineral, and one of my favorites. It is one of two minerals that will not accumulate negative energy, but somehow transmutes it into loving energy. I find this interesting as both minerals--citrine and kyanite--are symbolic of the Archangel Michael. It is also known as the "Merchant's Stone". It is quite helpful in acquiring and maintaining wealth.

It is an excellent stone for clearing the aura and for aligning the auric body with the physical structure, diminishing the "muddy" areas in both the aura and the physical body. It can act to stabilize the emotions, to dispel anger, and to encourage one to "look toward the sunrise", the freshness of beginnings and the reality of excellence. Personally, I use citrine in conjunction with labradorite to help keep panic/anxiety attacks at bay.

Place Citrine on your Solar plexus when tired or in need of an energy-boost, especially good for hands on healers to help themselves recuperate. It is one of the few crystals that do not require any cleansing. It can also be left in the sun for additional charging.
