Citrine lightbrary cathedrals bring a rich healing energy that truly excel when working on the physical and spiritual bodies. For healers they help to bolster confidence in your work and to trust your intuition and abilities. Cathedral quartz is a beautiful quartz formation that is often confused with the geode formations, such as amethyst. Cathedral quartz often forms lesser points that frequently resemble turrets of medieval castles. They frequently are highly etched and many have record keepers as well as trigonic record keepers. Cathedral quartz is associated with the higher realms and is a high vibrational crystal. They store an amazing amount of information. They work with one to open their higher consciousness. They keep one moving forward along their path, helping to prevent stagnation and regression. These crystals have gentle energy which is often very powerful. Their soothing energy makes them beautiful additions to meditation and healing work. Cathedral quartz crystals are master healers and will work on all levels and chakras. They are also excellent assistants in group work such as meditations or healing rooms.

This winter, Jenn went to the Orlando trade show without me as I was recovering from a bout with scarlet fever.  You can imagine my disappointment at missing the chance to immerse myself in all the beautiful crystals and stones that are available at one of these events.  But she did an excellent job, and brought back some incredible spirits.  This lovely citrine was one of her special finds, and I promptly snatched it when it came out of its protective wrappings.  A nice hand sized citrine, this spirit is covered in beautiful craggy castle formations that you can trace from its termination all the way down to its base.  Just under the surface of the crystal is a faint smoky phantom that you can see lining the edges of the crystal.  Its base is covered in self healings and a few pale yellow mica stacks, indicating that it came away from its matrix ages ago.

This is a very old spirit, comfortable in its physical form.  I get the impression of an older gentleman, learned and wise and very polite.  His depths are going to take some time to explore, and he smiles at me gently when I probe a little too far.  He tells me he is a personal growth companion and that his mysteries are for his guardian to discover.

The crystal measures 3.3" x 2.3" x 2.1" and weighs 8oz.

Cathedral Quartz crystals are named after their shape. They look like mini castles! The ones of the type shown above are not to be confused with Amethyst Geodes; these have only just started to be referred to Cathedrals in the last few years, where the crystals like the one shown above have been referred to Cathedrals for many decades. Clear Cathedrals are referred to as Lightbrary Cathedrals. Lightbraries are said to house the Libraries of Light!

These crystals have doorways in them, more often than not, in their castling definition. To travel into the crystal, just gaze into the doorway, you will see it open and your consciousness will be drawn into the crystal. From there you can travel into different chambers and receive information that you are ready for at that time. You can also travel in inner and outer space in complete safety within the crystal.

Citrine is a phenomenal mineral, and one of my favorites. It is one of two minerals that will not accumulate negative energy, but somehow transmutes it into loving energy. I find this interesting as both minerals--citrine and kyanite--are symbolic of the Archangel Michael. It is also known as the "Merchant's Stone". It is quite helpful in acquiring and maintaining wealth.

It is an excellent stone for clearing the aura and for aligning the auric body with the physical structure, diminishing the "muddy" areas in both the aura and the physical body. It can act to stabilize the emotions, to dispel anger, and to encourage one to "look toward the sunrise", the freshness of beginnings and the reality of excellence. Personally, I use citrine in conjunction with labradorite to help keep panic/anxiety attacks at bay.

Place Citrine on your Solar plexus when tired or in need of an energy-boost, especially good for hands on healers to help themselves recuperate. It is one of the few crystals that do not require any cleansing. It can also be left in the sun for additional charging. Natural Citrine is rare, most bright gold Citrine is actually heated Amethyst (like 98% of it). Citrine Elestials are very powerful vital organ cleansers and rejuvenators. It makes a very powerful all round elixir.
