Kyanite is a beautiful mineral found most commonly found in vivid hues of blue with a silvery shimmer to the surface. It is commonly mined in Brazil, Netherlands and India, each with its own unique properties. This beautiful kyanite is from Brazil with an unusual hardness characteristic. Lengthwise the hardness ranges from 4-5 but across the blade the hardness increases to 6-7 making it difficult to cut and polish. Brazilian kyanite is beautiful on its own, forming in beautiful blades that are perfect for energy work of all kinds. Kyanite has a beautiful energy for opening and activating the chakras. It does not accumulate negative energy but assists to dissipate it. This makes kyanite a perfect tool during healing sessions. Kyanite helps us open up assisting with spiritual and personal growth.
