Prasem quartz is an extremely rare form of green quartz only in Greece or Russia. This beautiful formation is from Russia, which produces dense green, craggy lightbrary formations. The rich color is from inclusions of hedenburgite and actinolite. You’ll definitely want a loupe or magnifying glass to study these crystals; especially since prasem quartz are generally only found in small crystals. Russian prasem quartz is often accompanied by bright reddish orange garnet crystals.
