Rare Fluorescent Tugtupite Rough Greenland (M11023)SOLD!Tugtupite is a stone that we don't carry very often, but we picked up a few
of these rare beauties while we were in Tucson. Tugtupite was first discovered
in 1962 in Tugtup, Greenland and to-date has only been found in two other
locations. The finds are very small and, as a result, tugtupite is a very rare
find. It varies in color from white, pink, to red, and crimson. Only tugtupite from Greenland
is deeply colored and considered valuable as a gemstone. This piece comes from
Greenland. The Inuit of Greenland say that lovers can cause the stone to glow
fiery red from the heat of their passion. The stone measures 3" x 1.2" x 0.8" and weighs 1.6 oz. Tugtupite is a stone of the heart chakra, in the deepest sense. Its energy will arouse lost passion and love. It will also reawaken lost grief and heartache so that one can be released from these emotions and open the heart once again. It releases the “floodgates” of passion and one must be prepared for possible upheavals throughout every day life. Ones perception of what love is will truly change. It connects the heart chakra with the upper chakras. One will become more open to a higher consciousness and will become more psychic. On a physical level it will strengthen the nervous system, the auric field and heart. |
