Our Tucson trip included a wide array of amethyst crystals from around the world, including beautiful specimens from Pakistan. The Pakistani amethysts are light in color, with subtle tones of pink. They have beautiful etched elestial formations that are fairly lustrous. The energy is sweet and light that resonates with ancient wisdom. Unlike amethyst from other regions which resonate almost solely in the crown chakra, these have a warm heart chakra energy too. Their gentle energy brings the spiritual energies to the heart and assists one to heal from past karma. The energy pulses through your system healing all of the energy systems, physical, emotional and spiritual working slowly and methodically. The energy is gentle enough to work with over extended periods of time, but be sure to pace yourself.

This is such a sweet crystal that gives me gentle whispers of the healing abilities of untainted love.  Double terminated, the center of this crystal is slightly offset as if two crystals grew fused together on slightly different axes.  In reality, it is really one crystal that may have broken in the long distant past and re-healed after a slight twist.  So it's conceivable that this may be an earthquake crystal lending its energy to healing after major traumatic events in our lives.  The crystal has a gentle pink color that makes me almost hesitate to call it amethyst.  One face of the crystal has a record keeper triangle on it that is ready to become three dimensional and leap off the crystal!  A hint of matrix still clings to its form, bringing echoes of its history in the Pakistani Himalayas.

The crystal measures 2" x 0.8" x 0.7" and weighs 0.7oz.

Amethyst brings serenity and calm, to enhance one's ability to assimilate new ideas, and to assist during meditation. It is also said to give strength and mental stability, and to provide balance between one's physical, emotional, intellectual states. Amethyst is also said to make one shrewd in business matters. Amethyst is said to help remove toxins from the body and to help treat arthritis. It also said to be useful in treating a number of disorders including those of the digestive system, heart, nervous system, skin and hearing and to help provide relief from pain and to strengthen the immune system.

Amethyst may be used to remove radiation the body stores on the sides of the head...such as from computers and such. Geodes of Amethyst are particularly good for this, just place the head next to it; you will then feel the radiation being drawn out. Place on the 3rd eye and visualize yourself breathing in the color for total mental emotional soothing. It's a very good technique to do in bed before going to sleep. It is an amazing all round healer and also a brilliant meditation crystal. Amethyst can be used for massage in wand, egg or sphere form. It makes a great elixir.

Earthquake crystals are a general term we've coined for a type self healed crystals. The main body of the crystal has been completely shorn in two separate pieces, but have managed to reheal after the rending experience. The crack usually appears as a fault line running through the crystal. These crystals have been very useful in working with abusive trauma from childhood. They work well in giving a safe place to return to while one puts the pieces of their lives back together.

A crystal with a point at each end is called double terminated. It is believed that they have the ability to receive or transmit energy from both ends. They are used for alignment, patience, perseverance, protection, dreaming, and astral projection. Double terminated crystals strengthen energy flow, and are especially useful when you need to share or exchange energy between you and another person. Double terminated crystals are very important to people doing healing work for themselves or others.

A crystal that has pyramidal or triangular shaped symbols that are either engraved into or are raised on one or more of a crystal faces is called a Record Keeper or Recorder. These symbols are not easily seen and usually need to be searched out by looking at the crystal in a bright light while closely examining the faces. It is believed that the Record Keeper is one of the most sacred crystals because it holds the wisdom and knowledge of the universe. When a person is properly attuned to a Record Keeper, this knowledge is readily made available. This knowledge is ancient knowledge and contains profound secrets and esoteric knowledge of the whole of the Higher Consciousness. It takes an open mind and a pure heart to access this knowledge.
