This lovely amethyst crystal radiates a deep violet hue. The color is just amazing, very soothing and warm. As you catch a glimpse of the lovely etchings on its facets you'll catch views of the lovely planes and phantoms inside the point.  But an extra special surprise is the white calcite ball that is partially enclosed in the amethyst.  The exposed calcite has a lovely warm golden color, giving this crystal an interesting connection to the solar plexus. As you travel downwards toward its stem, it melds into colorless to smoky quartz covered in contact areas like a root.
