Cranberry quartz is an unusual form of pinkish red quartz that forms as a druzy overlay usually over quartz or an agate matrix. It's relatively hard to find, which is a shame because this quartz is gorgeous. Beautifully hand carved into a sphere, you can see the intricacies of the growth patterns with a complex of caverns running throughout the sphere. The openness of the sphere is quite remarkable and it takes great care to polish a piece like this. These open caverns give a spectacular view of the quartz which has hundreds of tiny faces which shimmer in the light. Some of the caverns travel all the way through the sphere, which you can hear by blowing into the caverns. The beautiful hues of cranberry quartz wrap around to the back subtly transitioning to a larger white quartz crystals. While we're not sure what causes the color, the energy is just divine. It speaks of love, and is deeply healing to the emotional body. It cleanses the system of the hurt, anger and old emotional wounds, leaving behind only love. It also clears any area it is in of negative vibrations that have been left behind. It has an stimulating energy too, awakening the emotional bodies. It incites movement of energy in all forms.
