We were incredibly lucky to find two amazing citrine spheres. Citrine is one of our true passions in the crystal world. We go out of our way to find high quality natural golden citrine pieces. Citrine, while not as rare as many crystals, is the “rarest” of the quartz cousins. For this reason, many times the citrine commonly on the market is heat treated amethyst. This citrine feels much different that natural citrine. High quality natural citrine spheres are very difficult to find, so naturally we couldn't pass a beauty like this up! The color is has the deep gold so coveted in citrine. There is nice clarity too, although there are more planes and veils than the slightly smaller citrine sphere we are offering this one also has a slightly deeper golden color. Veils and planes play with the light, giving rise to vibrant rainbows too. The energy is amazing, its like holding sunshine in your hands. Its hard to feel down gazing at this sphere. A tremendous sense of joy radiates from this beautiful sphere. It heals warms one from the inside out. It is not too intense but just right. It bolsters the functions of the liver, kidneys and adrenal glands. It helps to purge negative emotions, release toxins and promote proper function of the organs in the solar plexus region. You'll feel renewed in body and spirit working with this one. There are a couple of slightly rough patches where some veils meet at the surface on this otherwise perfectly polished sphere. There is actually greater clarity within the sphere than the pictures indicate. This stunning beauty was mined in Brazil.

Citrine is a phenomenal mineral, and one of my favorites. It is one of two minerals that will not accumulate negative energy, but somehow transmutes it into loving energy. I find this interesting as both minerals--citrine and kyanite--are symbolic of the Archangel Michael. It is also known as the "Merchant's Stone". It is quite helpful in acquiring and maintaining wealth.

It is an excellent stone for clearing the aura and for aligning the auric body with the physical structure, diminishing the "muddy" areas in both the aura and the physical body. It can act to stabilize the emotions, to dispel anger, and to encourage one to "look toward the sunrise", the freshness of beginnings and the reality of excellence. Personally, I use citrine in conjunction with labradorite to help keep panic/anxiety attacks at bay.

Place Citrine on your Solar plexus when tired or in need of an energy-boost, especially good for hands on healers to help themselves recuperate. It is one of the few crystals that do not require any cleansing. It can also be left in the sun for additional charging. Natural Citrine is rare, most bright gold Citrine is actually heated Amethyst (like 98% of it). Citrine Elestials are very powerful vital organ cleansers and rejuvenators. It makes a very powerful all round elixir.

Crystal balls which have been contoured in the spherical configuration send energy in all directions and are the most unified of shapes.
