Chakras are the central focus of ethereal energies for our body. They are spinning wheels of conscious energy. There are chakra centers throughout our body, but the seven major centers correspond to our major body organs. The chakras each correspond to a specific color vibration and certain stones are better used on certain chakras based on their color. The chart below is a brief overview of the chakra system and associated stones.
